I happen to be aworking in a private school in kenya.Recently you heard teachers union fighting successfully for the teachers employed by the govt. The tax has seriously gone, terribly upsetting our way of life. Why cant teachers in private schools equally unite and come up with serious policies against any sort of mistreatment and harrassment and ofcourse a minima salary. Teachers I need your views to salvage ourselves from this colonism. *

Thanks shebanda for your concern. seriously the private schools should offer better employment terms than the government else the teachers should start an umbrella body like knut that will fight for their rights..... but it all begins with you, where can they start?

I have an idea, how about if we meet at zonal levels and use this wapsite for communication and co-ordination. Introduce as many teachers to this wapsite as possible for awareness. *
